The green Zone is the forest mass of
the Misiones province. It is clear
that
uninterruptedly
and
each
time
a
rate
but
quick
this
surface is desapearing.
The red line indicates the Green Runner
extension, the most critical zone is the one than it is between Yabotí to the south, and Urugua-í more to the north, by the absence of protected areas.
Here it is possible to be seen clearly the effects of the
"island effect" (the forest islands that are formed when advancing the
clearing). This
it prevents
that
have
biological
runners (connections) that
make possible the free
transit
of animal species.
Beyond the Do Iguazú National Park
(2), in Brazil, the rest of the still continuous forest is in Argentina,
this is the reason why its salvation (and with her the one of our Tigers) is in our hands.
The Green Runner
is a hope of protection for our Tiger and its forests, but it is necessary to actually
